Comics
In the comics field, I primarily work as a writer and editor, in addition to doing freelance work as a translator and proofreader.
As an editor, I was responsible for all the comics published by the Jupati Books imprint of Marsupial Editora (among which, noteworthy are the anthologies Aqui e Acolá — which brought together Brazilian and Portuguese comic artists in unprecedented collaborations — and Fetiço da Vila — one of the first Brazilian comics to feature adapted songs in comic book form).
I am also the creator (in partnership with Flavio Soares) of the children’s series Meninos e Dragões, which won the 2nd Prêmio Abril de Personagens and the 30th Troféu Angelo Agostini for best release, as well as several other comics, webcomics, and characters.
