As Aventuras do MorsaMan

As Aventuras do MorsaMan follows the daily life of MorsaMan, the anthropomorphic walrus “mascot” of the Papo de Gordo website and podcast, through binge-eating, tight clothes, and not-very-effective attempts at dieting. The strips treat the difficulties faced by overweight people today with irony and good humor, aiming to help boost the self-esteem of those who are overweight.

Script by Lucio Luiz and art by Flavio Soares. Originally published every Monday between 2009 and 2010, the series was later collected — along with unpublished stories — in the book As Aventuras do MorsaMan, released in 2023.
