This book brings together texts by various authors and researchers, aimed at basic education teachers. It was conceived as a contribution from ASPAS and its members to the daily practice of teachers across all grade levels and subjects. ASPAS believes in the potential of comics as a teaching tool and understands that teachers need both practical and theoretical support to make better use of them in the classroom.
The book includes a preface by Henrique Magalhães and a cover by Catia Ana Baldoino. It is divided into thirteen chapters, including contributions from Argentine authors, covering topics such as religious education, media education, comic book libraries, pop culture, and mathematics, among others. Lucio Luiz’s chapter is titled “Como assim nem todo professor gosta de quadrinhos?!” (“Wait, not every teacher likes comics?!”).
