Meninos & Dragões won the 2012 Abril Characters Prize and, as part of the prize, got its own regular magazine published by Abril Jovem starting in October 2013. The story is set in the Kingdom of Odilon, a medieval land where knights, dragons, and fairies live alongside video games, skateboarding, soccer, and other very modern references, following Rodrigo, Tobias, Princess Amanda, and the baby dragon Foguinho.
Script by Lucio Luiz, art by Flavio Soares, inks by Donizeti Amorim and Flavio Soares, and colors by Donizeti Amorim. Because of the financial crisis Editora Abril was going through at the time, which led to the cancellation of many publications (especially comics), the magazine was cancelled right after this first issue. Even so, the comic won the 2014 Angelo Agostini Trophy for Best Release.
